  1. The Bottleneck

    What was broken?

Nursery days are a black box for working parents, while nurseries themselves run attendance, activities, and parent communication on scattered manual routines.

  2. The Move

    Why it worked

One shared system for all three sides — parents see their child moment by moment, nannies communicate directly, administrators organise schedules — built by local founders inside the Flow accelerator orbit.

  3. The Trap

    Battle scars

Pre-revenue and pre-scale: converting a first partner nursery into repeatable sales, building trust with parents on child data, and funding growth with no announced backing.

The problem

Working parents drop their children at the nursery gate and hear nothing until pickup, while nurseries coordinate attendance, activities, and parent questions through ad-hoc calls and messages that eat staff time.

How it works

GrowApp is a childcare-management platform that bridges parents, nannies, and nursery administrators: activity tracking and real-time updates show parents their child’s day moment by moment, direct channels connect parents with nannies, and organised schedules and activities structure the nursery’s operations — framed by founders Safaa and Doaa as change starting from a single step.

Pain points

No parental visibility during nursery hours, fragmented nanny-parent messaging, and manual administrative routines with no purpose-built local tool.

Business model

Early-stage SaaS for nurseries: institutions adopt the system and onboard their parents (no pricing or revenue published yet).

Challenges

Everything of an idea-stage venture: proving the product beyond its first partner nursery (Revano Nursery), earning parents’ trust on children’s data and safety, and securing funding — no investment has been announced.

Funding

  • Raised: nothing announced; funding expected MISSING at idea stage.

Latest — Nov 2025

By late 2025 GrowApp’s public site presents the full platform — moment-by-moment child tracking, direct nanny communication, schedules, and growth records — and names Revano Nursery as its partner, with the venture listed among Flow Accelerator’s alumni startups (growapp.ps; flow.ps).
